WHO WE ARE

Making ArtWear Accessible

zAnta was founded in 2019 by K V Godha in Singapore with the aim of bringing the vibrance of the Indian art scene to the global market. The brand name was inspired by the word "zAnta" in Sanskrit which translates to peace and "Zanta" in Swahili which means a beautiful young lady. The brand itself focusses on two major industries, the first is in fashion - particularly in ethnic wear that comprises of pieces that have been handmade and sometimes hand painted on by a team of several undiscovered artists based around India. The second portion of the venture deals with vintage home-decor articles from a carefully curated collection handpicked by our founder herself. Her background, which involves being an active member of the docent team in the National Museums of Singapore has provided her with an unique insight on the artisanal styles particularly in Asia and have cultivated her eye for detail thereby allowing her to better appreciate and appraise the unique pieces we acquire for our clients.
